MEDITERRANEO

Location - c/ La Caballa

Directions--walking down main st, past Mango and turn next left. Walk up around 100yds and restaurant on corner opposite the big Hipo Dino supermarket. Closed Wednesdays

Recommendation--10/10, fabulous, specialising in freshly made pasta. Other restaurants recommend it also. Steaks also highly recommended. If not on menu they can probably make it !  They also had daily special board. House red wine is very good.

MIRANDO AL SUR

Location - c/ Juan Sebastian Elgano No 5

Directions--Get a taxi to this one as directions are difficult. Very close to Mediterraneo and all taxi drivers know where it is.

Recommendation--8/10. specialising in chateaubriand and grilled dishes.No variation to menu and everything served with chips and salad.

DA ULI

Location - c/ Crucero Baleares

Directions--Turn left at Mango and walk up for 100yd. Immediately before Indian restaurant

Recommendation--10/10  this is an Italian takeaway! However it has tables outside for sitting in. Fabulous food cooked freshly every day by Uli and his son Andreas. Go in at lunch time and in the evening although you would need to be there before 8.00pm. Closed Thursdays

EL SOMBRERO

Location - Down at the Harbour

Recommendation--9/10 Great steaks which you can cook yourself at your table. Lovely surroundings inside and out.

PUNTA AL VIENTO

Down at the harbour

Recommendation--8/10. Lovely food and surroundings. chateaubriand was excellent.

MAUREENS’ TOP TIP:: In all restaurants, if you like yir steak cooked "medium" then ask fir it "well done" son ! (by the way - no)
